For more than two decades McFarland has worked in marketing, advertising and graphic design in industries including logistics, higher education, healthcare, publishing, advertising and more. McFarland earned a B.A. in Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising and a Minor in Psychology of Marketing from the University of Nevada, Reno.
